Join us for a Nutritious Lunch


We invite you to join us for a nutritious meal at one of our Senior Cafes in Pinellas County. Diners can enjoy a variety of fun activities such as karaoke, movies, group exercise, outings, and a delicious lunch.


Activities start at 11 am. Lunch is served at noon. Transportation is available.


Diners also receive nutrition education and health advice.

Neighborly Senior Cafes offer adults 60 and older with a fun place to socialize and enjoy delicious cuisine. Along with a hot, nutritious meal, Neighborly offers participants informational programs, entertainment, and activities.

Sample Menus

Our meals provide at least 1/3 of the nutrition needs of an older adult.


This is about 600 calories, 30 g protein, 75 g carbohydrates and 20 g fat, 7 g fiber and less than 767 mg of sodium. The meals also provide adequate vitamins and minerals for older adults.

Senior Café – FAQs


Find answers to common questions about the Senior Café program, including meals, locations, transportation, activities, and registration.

  • How is the cafe program different than Meals on Wheels?

    The café program is for people age 60 and over who are not homebound. It’s a great place to meet new people and socialize.

  • Can I come if I don't drive?

    Yes, we provide door-to-door transportation to the programs and activities. We will complete the registration paperwork with you by phone before we pick you up.

  • How much are the meals?

    There’s a suggested contribution of $2 per meal.

  • Do you have activities?

    Yes! All of our activities are provided by donations. We often play games, trivia, nutrition education, have exercise, music, dances, and field trips. Some sites provide transportation to the food pantry or the store at least once a month.

  • Where are you located?

  • Can I see the menu?

    Yes, we posted a sample menu above on this page.

  • How do I register?

    Call 727-573-9444 or stop by the café closest to you. The site coordinator will help you register with the program. You can attend as a guest up to three times before registering.
