Driver (Car, Van, Bus) CDL

SUMMARY

Drivers operate agency vehicles (car, van, bus, or CDL-required vehicles) to safely and compassionately transport seniors for individual, group, or special-purpose trips. This role includes providing appropriate passenger assistance, including mobility support, and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and documented.


Position Title: Driver with CDL 

Department: Transportation 

Site: 5225 Tech Data Dr, Clearwater, FL 

Pay: Salary to be discussed at interview, $15.50-$18.50 per hour depending on experience and license 

Hours:  Part Time \ Full Time weekly Monday – Friday daytime hours

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate assigned vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Neighborly procedures to ensure safe, smooth, and comfortable transportation
  • Provide passenger assistance as needed, including boarding and exiting vehicles, securing seat belts, assisting with packages, and providing walking assistance to and from residences or facilities.
  • Load and unload passenger-occupied wheelchairs, which may include pushing, lifting, tilting, and supporting the wheelchair.
  • Accurately record and report daily passenger counts, trip data, and vehicle usage using driver manifests or electronic systems.
  • Follow route assignments and operational instructions; communicate delays, passenger issues, or vehicle concerns to Operations staff.
  • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance issues or damage
  • Immediately report and document any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions according to established procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, including daily interior cleaning and exterior cleaning as needed; refuel vehicles as required.
  • Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Operations Manager or designated Neighborly staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Florida driver’s license appropriate to the vehicle operated (Car, Van, Bus, or CDL).
  • Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs safely and respectfully.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and working with the senior community.
  • Ability to meet all background screening, driving record, and pre-employment requirements.

Director for Developing Fundraising and Grants

SUMMARY

Neighborly Care Network is seeking a Director of Development to lead and execute all fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, grant development, special events, employee campaigns, and capital campaigns. This position plays a key leadership role in growing philanthropic support and strengthening relationships with donors, foundations, and community partners in alignment with our mission of serving older adults.


Position Title: Director of Development

Depaerment: Development

Site: 5225 Tech Data Dr, Clearwater, FL 

Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 per year, Employer-sponsored health insurance, 403B, and paid time off

Hours:  Full Time Monday – Friday daytime hours


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and execute all fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, grant development, special events, employee campaigns, and capital campaigns. This position plays a key leadership role in growing philanthropic support and strengthening relationships with donors, foundations, and community partners in alignment with our mission of serving older adults.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Gerontology, or a minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit fundraising or development, including experience with major gifts, donor cultivation, and fundraising campaigns. Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain donor relationships required. Experience in aging services preferred. CFRE certification preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently supervises administrative staff assigned to the Development Department, as designated.

Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) preferred. Requires passing an Abuse and Criminal Background Check

• Filing and administrative support for Development and Volunteer Services

• Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence

• Proofreading

• Fax, scan and copy documents

• Process copies of checks and receipts donation acknowledgements

• Conducts Level I and II background checks on volunteers

• Supports special projects for outreach and recruitment

• Assists in preparation for audits and monitoring

• Maintain schedule of administrative volunteers to both departments

• Must be fluent in use of Microsoft Office

• Able to effectively utilize DonorPerfect and Volgistics (with training)

• Familiar with social media platforms
