Center Manager Nyra McGowan has had a variety of medical experiences that eventually brought her to the field of gerontology. As an LPN focusing on laboratory testing, Nyra received a national certification in the specialty area of tissue studies. Studying disease and chronic conditions propelled her education to obtain her bachelor's degree in Nursing. Nyra believes that her schooling and practice fit well with her clientele at the Dunedin Adult Day Center. She says her clients continue to teach her from their life skills.
