Neighborly Celebrates 40th Anniversary on October 26, 2006 Minimize

We're 40 years old and proud of it! Neighborly Care Network has grown a lot over the past four decades and it has been quite a ride. Now we are about to enter the most important and thrilling time of our existence. Our first 40 years were all about preparing for what is to come. And now the future is looking incredible.

Neighborly President/CEO Debra Shade and Motion Picture, Broadway & Television Star Debbie ReynoldsWhat better way to celebrate a 40th anniversary than a party -- and Neighborly did just that. On Thursday, October 26, 2006, Neighborly held a gala luncheon at the Hilton St. Petersburg, Carillon Park, emceed by the wonderful Fox 13 News Anchor John Wilson. Guests not only enjoyed delicious food, but also the charm and wit of motion picture, Broadway and television star Debbie Reynolds, who served as keynote speaker.

A caregiver herself, Ms. Reynolds truly believes in Neighborly's mission of "improved health, wellness and independent living for individuals and families."

Our three major sponsors for the event were WellCare, Raymond James, and GA Food Service, and we are very grateful to them for their generosity and continued support. Pictured below at the head table are (l-r) MT Sattaur (WellCare), guest speaker Carole Green (Secretary of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs), Neighborly President/CEO Debra Shade, Ken LoBianco (GA Food Service), Emcee John Wilson, Debbie Reynolds, Neighborly Board Chair Jim Gillespie, and Court James (Raymond James).

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our Emerald Sponsor, BB&T, as well as the following additional sponsors for helping to make this special event possible:
