Make a difference -- one gift at a time

  Minimize

For more than four decades, Neighborly Care Network (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) has provided health and wellness programs that sustain life for thousands in Pinellas County. Not only do our programs sustain physical life; they bring the human touch to the lonely and isolated through friendly visits from volunteers who let them know someone cares.

We could not succeed without the help of caring people in our community, whose contributions directly support our effort to help those in need. With your help, seniors can avoid loneliness, illness, and often institutionalization. Because of your caring, we are able to provide independence, quality of life and hope.

A Word of Thanks to Our Donors

Thank you for the role you play in enabling us to help so many who cannot help themselves. Your generosity has made a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. In 2013, you helped to provide:

  • nearly 420,000 nutritious meals to seniors, including the frail, sick and homebound
  • more than 133,000 transportation trips (to doctors, hospitals, adult day centers, etc.)
  • over 138,000 hours of service through adult day care
  • more than 11,000 low-cost prescriptions through the Neighborly Pharmacy

You can continue to help through volunteering and/or gifts of cash, charitable gift annuities, trusts, appreciated stock, real property, or bequests through your will. For sponsorship opportunities or information on tax planning, wills, and other charitable gift options, or to request our helpful planned giving materials, please call us at (727) 573-9444.

Regardless of the amount, your gift is priceless.

High Gas Prices Affect Our Meals on Wheels Volunteers Minimize

Volunteer Gas Cards
Rising gas prices are affecting all of us, but the high prices at the pumps may force many of Neighborly Care Network's Meals on Wheels volunteers to stop volunteering. We can't let this happen, so Neighborly has initiated a program to help some of our volunteers pay for their gas so they can continue to deliver meals to our homebound seniors.

If you would like to help this cause, you can send in a donation that will be used strictly for the Neighborly Meals on Wheels volunteers. Please send your donation to the Neighborly administrative offices at 13945 Evergreen Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33762. Also, earmark your check "Volunteer Gas Cards."

Thank you for helping our homebound seniors receive the nutritious meals they so desperately need.

Maintaining Trust in Our Community Minimize

Neighborly simply could not continue to help seniors and caregivers in our community without contributions from our generous donors. Their continued support, as well as their trust in Neighborly and our mission, are extremely important to us.

Each year, Neighborly Care Network engages the services of a certified public accounting firm to audit our financial records, as well as prepare our IRS Form 990, the annual tax return for nonprofit organizations.
