Many times the problems facing our elderly seem to defy solution. Nevertheless, Neighborly Care Network has been working hard for the past 45 years to help ensure that our elderly population and their families receive the help they need. Through the years, the challenge of keeping our elderly in their own homes grew in complexity, and we began to look to corporate partners to help solve them.
Today, because of government funding cuts, nonprofits like Neighborly must rely even more on corporate partnerships to help sustain their missions. These partnerships don’t just happen - they must be built. Fortunately, many corporations are beginning to realize that programs like the ones Neighborly provides benefit the community where their employees live and work.
Private donors are becoming more and more vocal about nonprofits producing demonstrable results. At the same time, they are asking the corporations where they work to take more responsibility for the welfare of the communities in which they operate. These demands have caused both nonprofits and corporate leaders to search for innovative solutions to community problems.
Neighborly Care Network is committed to making a difference, through both helping those in need and encouraging active partnerships with other community members. Partnerships are extremely important in developing a healthy and bright future for all of us who call this community home.
We know that we cannot solve all the problems of the elderly in our community alone. Our future depends on the entire community working together. Please join Neighborly Care Network in building a corporate culture that connects employers, staff, caregivers, and the elderly, making a stronger and better community for everyone.
